I’ve know Jodie since highschool.  We had a lot of the same classes and both played in concert band.  We’ve seen each other here and there over the years but it had been a while.  I was so excited when she stopped by my studio to tell me she was engaged!  I had the pleasure of meeting up with her and Shane in Bayfield a few weekends back for an engagement session.  Here are a few of my favourites from our time together.

Last Wednesday I had the honour and privelege of watching Bart & Heather exchange their wedding vows… yes a Wednesday.? They had decided way back in January that they wanted a simpler, more intimate wedding and that the 2nd of September in Bayfield would be perfect.? I think they were right.? Now when I put simplier, It’s a bit of a contrast really, as the details and effort that Heather put into the wedding were really lovely.? Take the chairs for instance.? Each one had a little bouquet on the corner.? The dinner tables looked lovely,?and each of the name places were hand written.? It was a beautiful wedding, complete with a horse drawn carriage ride – a surprise from the grooms parent’s for their horse-loving daughter in-law.? It was a couple of weeks ago that I met up with Stacey and Mike to take their engagement photos. ?Sorry guys that I forgot to blog this until now. ?We had some fun crusing around the streets of Bayfield and finished the evening with a trip to the beach. ?It was a beautiful night and here are a few of my favourite’s from our session. ?I’m really looking forward to working with them again next summer!

I had so much fun hanging out with Gillian & Tyler. ?You can tell by the way they look at each other that they are totally head over heels in love. ?They met in highschool and have been dating ever since. Having met my own fabulous husband in highschool this immediately made me melt a little. ?It was a beautiful evening and here are a few of my favourite shots from our session. ?Can’t wait to see them again in October!!
