I was so glad to meet little Timothy the week before Christmas. Tim made an early arrival and was in the hospital for about 6 weeks after his birth, but his mom had him in to see me as soon as she could. He’s just beautiful and so content! Here are a few of my favourite shots from his session.

I absolutely love photographing newborn babies. I was super excited when Rachel emailed to see if I could come snap some photos of her sweet baby boy while he was still just a few days old. He was super contented and made my job pretty easy. I thought it was really neat to incorporate his daddy’s volunteer firefighter’s jacket into his photos. Here are just a few of my favourites.

I absolutely love it when my wedding clients call me to see about photographing their new baby. Such an honour and a thrill! I photographed Ken & Laura’s beautiful winter wedding in 2007 – you can see those photos here. Little Cameron is such a sweet heart and was just days old when I got to meet him. Such a treat! 
And what would a family photo be without their first baby… “Maddie” … such a big friendly lab!

I remember when I had 3 little kids… life was busy. Wonderful but busy. The same is true for little Layla’s family. Her mom, Melanie, takes it all in stride, and their whole family is just wonderful! It was so much fun to spend a bit of time with them and remember how sweet and short the time is with your children when they are so tiny. Introducing Miss Layla!
