It was a beautiful evening when I met with Stefanie and Bryan to take their engagement photos. They were both a little nervous when we started our session but before too long they were a bit more relaxed and ready to go! I’m really excited for their wedding this fall! Enjoy the photos!

Growing up in Toronto, Tyler has great memories of spending time at his grand parents farm near Holmesville. Camping and hiking in the bush and fishing on the lake were an everyday thing when he would visit. Once he started dating Jess, she too enjoyed trips to the farm with campfires and cookouts by the lake. It only seemed fitting that when it came time to take their engagement photos that we go to a place that had so many great memories for them. Here are a few of my favourite photos from their session. I was super excited and flattered when Kevin & Amy asked me to take their wedding photos. I’ve known Kevin since he was just a little boy… around the time he was 10 I married his Uncle Chris. It’s so awesome to see him with a great girl like Amy.. who appreciates his humour, helps keep him in line and above all loves him to bits! We met up this week in Goderich and had some fun taking their engagement photos. Thank goodness the rain decided to wait this time until after we were done shooting! I had a lot of fun on the weekend taking Sarah & Devin’s engagement photos. It’s always great to hang out with couples and get to know them a bit before their wedding. I had a really fun time last week with Hattie & Scott on their engagement session. When we were planning to get together for their engagement photos we were brainstorming ideas. I mentioned to Hattie that I thought it would be fun someday to do a shoot with a bicycle built for two and she wrote back right away.. ”lol I have a Tandem bike (bicycle built for 2) So I’ll make sure it’s pulled out and there is air in the tires” – thank goodness Scott was a great sport as I think the photos turned out really cute.

The internet is a wonderful thing… it helped Ali & Jim to make all the arrangements for their September wedding from their home in Toronto. I’m sure that Darren at The Little Inn as well as the My Bayfield website were both extremely helpful in making recommendations (thanks for that by the way!!) .. but it wasn’t until this past weekend that Jim & Ali actually had a chance to meet with all their vendors in person and go over their wedding day details. I was so glad I had time on Friday evening to catch up with them. Jim & Ali are planning a wonderful intimate wedding this fall with only a few of their family and friends along to join in the celebrations. I’m super excited to be a part of their day.
