Just like I said in my “sneak peak” – Saturday’s wedding was so much fun!  Josh and Erin were so easy to work with and their wedding party was awesome!  Such a great day.  If you’d like to watch their slideshow you can click here, or download the podcast for your ipod free in my itunes store.  In the meantime, here are a few of my favourite shots of the day.

What a beautiful day for a wedding.  The forecast was a bit sketchy for the day but the long standing tradition held true- there was no rain yet again for a Middleton wedding!  Stacey I think your Grandpa was taking good care of you from above on Saturday.  To see a slideshow of their wedding day click here.   I’ve also done a separate slideshow (click here)  from their fun photo booth.  I’ve never done a photo booth before and I asked Stacey if it would be okay to do a test drive at their reception.  She was totally on board and we had so much fun at the reception.  I think I’ll definitely be adding it to my reception coverage packages for 2011.  Both slideshows are also available for your ipod, just download from my itunes store for free!

Mike is a farm boy through and through so it only made sense to have some shots in the wheat field.  He figures it’s just about ready to come off

Stacey & Mike were married in Seaforth at the Catholic church.  What a beautiful building!

Then we headed off to Stacey’s Aunt & Uncle’s farm for some photos.  Amazing property, but what’s even more amazing is that we got all 6 children to look in my direction for a photo.  Great job guys!

This one is for Mike!  I’m sure it will be one of his favourites!

I was so excited on Sunday to capture Darrell & Jen’s wedding.  When they first came to meet with me last fall we hit it off right away.  They are so easy going and had such neat plan for their wedding.  Initially Jen had thought that eloping might not have been such a bad option, but as the only child in her family, her mother made it VERY clear that it simply was not going to happen,  and so the planning began.  They decided on a Sunday morning cermony with an afternoon luncheon on the grounds of the beautiful Hessenland Country Inn…. simple, beautiful and elegant.  It was an absolutely wonderful day!  Here are a few of my favourite images from their wedding!

Jen’s gown was absolutely beautiful.  I loved her viel as well.  Such a beautiful compliment to her dress!

The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful for their garden ceremony.

After the cermony we made a quick stop at the beach.  The water was so blue.  Made for an awesome backdrop!

Love this new water feature on the at Hessenland!  Well done Frank & Liz and staff!   Gorgeous addition to your grounds!

Check out this next photo of their wedding cake.  You may think that this is just like any other wedding cake…. but not too often does the mother of the bride take classes to learn how to make a wedding cake just for her daughter’s wedding!  Good on you Mrs. Lasenby!  This cake not only looked beautiful, but it tasted amazing! 

They even had time for one quick dance as Mr & Mrs!

Jen & Darrell it was a pleasure working with both of you!  Congrats on such a lovely wedding and I wish you much happiness in your future!

I had a great day on Saturday capturing Justin & JJ’s wedding.  The weather was amazing and the couple was absolutely stunning.  A special thanks to their wedding party for being so great to work with!   I started the day with JJ – I love this shot of her as she’s putting her finishing touches together.  Doesn’t she look so excited??

This shot was really important to JJ – as her mom has a portrait of herself on her wedding day 25 years earlier at the exact same location.  Hope you like it JJ!

Justin & JJ chose to do their photos before the ceremony, and decided to see each other for the first time in the garden.  Love this shot of them just after their “first glance”.  I think during the day I heard Justin tell Jennifer (JJ) atleast a dozen times how beautiful she looked.  So sweet!

And off we went to take some photos.  Beautiful day!  Beautiful wedding!

And then it was off to church to get married!

After the ceremony we headed to the beach for a few quick photos before the reception started.
