I had the pleasure this week of photographing Avery and her parents. We started out our shoot in the studio.
Check out the sweet highchair I scored this week! Love it! Doesn’t she look so darn cute?
And then we headed out for some fun at the park just down the street. 
Avery had never really seen balloons before, so it was fun to watch her reaction.

Just a little taste from the wedding I shot on Saturday. Krystle asked me just to post one or two photos until they return from there honeymoon, so the rest will have to wait. Krystle and Gerard both grew up on farms, and truly had a beautiful country wedding. Kudos to their wedding party…. never before have I had a wedding party pitch in and push a tractor when it refused to start…. and wasn’t in quite the right place. Pushing this big old thing UP hill… I’d say this wedding party totally rocked! Thanks so much guys!

This session was a while in the making. Erin first contacted me last September to see about booking an engagement session in Chris’s hometown of Goderich Ontario. Our hopes of a fall session were dashed by a combination of my travel schedule and the fact that they reside in Ottawa. Thankfully this June we were able to pick a date to get together for some photos. It was really a lot of fun to trip around Goderich together!
I love Erin’s smile! It’s absolutely infectious!
During our journey we came across the world’s biggest dandelion. Made for some neat photos!

This post is extra special to me! I’ve known David & Tracey since I started dating Chris over 20 years ago. David is one of Chris’s brothers and we’ve always had tons of fun hanging out with them. It’s hard to believe how fast time goes, one year fades into the next and before you know it my nieces and nephews who I used to babysit have all grown up!
Tracey & David are two awesome people, volunteering to help not only their family but their entire community at every opportunity. I can’t think of anyone who does more to help others out! Tracey has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders for my business as well, which has always meant the world to me. I’m so glad we were able to round up all the kids and get some great family photos.

I love families…. and I especially love it when one of the couple’s I photographed as an engaged and then married couple asks me to also photograph their family. There is no greater compliment! I was so excited when Janet wondered if I’d be able to take their photos and capture little Lauren at this wonderful stage. Isn’t she just a doll!
Rob & Janet you really have a beautiful little girl! I hope you treasure every minute of it! Trust me, they grow up way too fast!
