This was such a fun shoot!  Emily was totally into the “Love Your Dress” session and really couldn’t wait to get into the ocean.  Kevin was such a good sport and I believe he had a whole lot of fun too.  Here are some of my favourite shots from our session in Cuba!  The photos certainly make me miss the beach.  Enjoy.

As I sat today editing Kevin & Emily’s wedding photos I was struck by two imparticular of Emily’s Mom.  I love the look of love and admiration on her face as she sees her little girl as a beautiful bride.

It’s hard to believe that it has been a month since I was in Cuba.  It was such a fun trip.  Anyone who knows me would tell you that I am very outgoing and make friends where ever I am.  When I was in Cuba I met Francois & Christine and Martin & Chantel – all from the Montreal area.  We had lots of laughs and a few cold cerveza.  After chatting for just a short time  I realized that they were in Cuba to get married…. and after one thing led to another, I agreed to take their wedding photos.  They had come to Cuba just the 4 of them to witness each others marriage.  They had a lovely day to get married, and here are just a few of my favourite shots!

Congratulations to all of you and thank you so much for letting me take your wedding photos!  It was so much fun to meet all of you!  I will certainly be in touch the next time I am in Montreal!  Best wishes!!

When I was a kid I had big cardboard “countdown calendars” that drove my older brother Kevin CRAZY…. but in light of the fact that even if I make one, he won’t likely see it – I’ve decided instead to opt for a different kind of count down calendar… everyday from now until Christmas I’m going to blog….. about what… I haven’t entirely decided.  I have a ton of shoots from this fall that I still need to post so that will be a good start.  I’ll be sure to throw in some random personal stuff as well… and here’s the deal… as well as blogging everyday, I’m going to donate a can to the local food bank for every comment left on my blog between now and Christmas so comment away folks!  Here’s to the start of the Christmas Spirit at the Regier home and studio!!  Fa la la la la la la la!!

Now that I’m settling into my new diggs,  I’m pleased to announce the launch of my new “Watch Me Grow” program – which captures your baby from belly, to birth to birthday!  The program costs $150 and entitles you to 3 – in-studio portrait sessions over a 13 month period as well as an online gallery for you to order your prints from at your convenience.  You can have your sessions at any stage of your babies first year, the timing is completely up to you.  Here are a few shots from my first session with Baby Finn.  He’s such a sweet heart that I can’t wait to have him back in my studio again!

I can’t begin to tell you how amazed and pleased I was with my grand opening on Friday night !  Thank you so much to everyone who came out and made it such a success!!  An extra big thank you to my wonderful husband Chris who has been a huge help at getting my studio set up and who is always my number one cheerleader – I couldn’t do any of this with out you babe!

Another big thank you to my fabulous friend – partner in crime and amazing photographer – Krista Jefferson of Edison Photography .  It couldn’t have been a better fit – a photographer who loves to dress up convincing other people to do so…. I might add she did managed to get in quite a few photos herself!

And to my wonderful friends – Anita & Lorraine who came and helped me all night – with set up, serving and clean up.  The night was a huge success thanks to both of you… Also a thanks to my Aunt Ginny who stuck around after the party was over to help clean up too! 

Somehow my sister Karen managed to escape the fun photo booth – but a huge thank you for all your hard work preparing our tasty treats.  You my dear can cook for me anytime!  Thank you thank you thank you!! – Also a big thanks to my kids for being so great this past week while I was busy getting ready.  Bailey & Rachael were an escpecially big help and I appreciate it load girls!
