Mario & Victoria – Engaged

I love love love taking engagement photos.? It’s such a fun time to get to know a couple and hopefully?help them feel at ease in front of my lens.? Such was the case with Mario & Victoria.? They’ve been together for a number of years but have never had a professional taken of them.? I’m so glad we had a chance to hang out, chat and shoot some photos at the same time.? I’m really looking forward to capturing their wedding?in September.? Here are a few of my favourites from their engagement session:

Nathan & Mandy – Married!!

The forecast on Saturday was anything but favourable – 90% chance of showers with heavy rain starting late in the morning and ending in the evening…. not exactly what you hope for when you plan a garden wedding.? I started my day off by meeting up with Nathan & the groomsmen and when I arrived it was RAINING… not just a little either – the kind of rain where you wait in your car for it to quit before you get out rain. Much to everyones surprise the skys seemed to clear and low and behold by the time I got to Mandy and the ladies it was completely sunny!? I don’t know what kind of prayers Mandy said that morning, but they certainly seemed to work!? I know that rain or shine Mandy & Nathan would have had a lovely wedding, but having the sunshine down on them for their ceremony in the beautiful gardens at Hessenland was certainly an added bonus.? I loved how their flowers (by?The Garden Gate) matched the flowerbeds in the gardens.? It was perfect!? Anyway, enough of my ramblings… on to the good stuff – the photos.? It was a beautiful wedding for a lovely couple.? Look for a slideshow on Wednesday as I’m heading out for a couple days with my family.

Bradon & Natalie – Married!!

I have to start off by apologizing for the lateness of this post. ?I’m usually much quicker to have a slideshow and blog entry ready for the Bride & Groom, but this week has been extra busy with relocating my office.

Anyway…. this past Saturday I had the?honor?and?privilege?of capturing Brandon and Natalie’s beautiful evening wedding in Guelph. ?They opted to have their portraits taken before the ceremony so they could spend the entire evening with their guests. ?It was a beautiful wedding! ?Here are a few of my favourite photos. ?You can click here to see their slideshow or download it free in itunes.

Ian & Eileen – Married!!

Friday was a big day for the Regier family….. ? Eileen who is Chris’s baby sister – the youngest of 10 – made the trek back home to Zurich to marry the man of her dreams – Ian. ?It was an absolutely fabulous day! The weather was awesome, the ceremony was lovely and always the food at Hessenland was AMAZING!! ?I was reluctant at first to take their wedding photos – and a bit nervous to be honest, but couldn’t say no when asked me to also cover their Australian wedding in October. ?Ian is from Australia and so only his parents and a friend made the trip to celebrate with them in Canada – his brothers and the rest of his mates will be at the October version of their big day…. and just for the record I’m still a bit nervous about October.

When I first met Eileen when she was just 10 years old and in 5th grade. ?She had more than enough older siblings, but I had none younger, so I always have felt a bit like a big sister to her. ?She was one of my bridesmaids 16 years ago at our wedding. ?It was truly an honour to be able to help her tie up her gorgeous wedding gown and get ready to become Mrs. D! ?She was a beautiful bride!

Here are a few of my favourite photos of their day – to see more you can click here to start their slideshow, or download it free in itunes!
