Andy’s Smiling Eyes

So I know I blogged a while ago that I’m not personally shooting family photos for the next year… which is true – with the exception of my Smiling Eyes photo shoots. ?For those of you unfamiliar with Smiling Eyes you can click here to get the scoop.

So last weekend I met up with the Deputter family on a very chilly day in Bayfield to shoot a few photos of Andy & his family. ?It turns out I went to highschool with Andy’s son – who shares his name and his birthday, which just happened to be the day we were together for their photo shoot. ?Here are a few of my favourite photos from our session. ?I wish the entire Deputter family all the best as they continue this journey together!

Grace and I have been friends since we were very young(under 10) and I have seen her family go through so much. They are truly a beautiful, wonderful, resilient group of people and you have really captured the warmth and closeness they share. I cried when I saw the photos, not only because they are so touching, but because of the generous gift you have given to them and others going through this tough journey. Bless you for your kindness.

Sandra, I am so happy that you made an exception and agreed to take these photos of Andy, Grace and family. They are wonderful …. you captured them just the way they really are.

I read the info about the “Smiling Eyes” program. What a generous and caring thing to do for families battling cancer. This is truly a ministry and bless you for choosing to be part of it.

Grace and Andy dePutter have been our friends since forever and when Grace sent me this site I was amazed at how lovely a family it is. Beautiful kids and grandchildren and the photography is wonderful.
