Saturday was such an awesome day.? The were forecasting rain, rain and more rain, but thankfully there weren’t more than a few drops all day long.? I don’t think it would have mattered much to Rob & Janet either way.? They were so excited and happy to be getting married that the rest of the details were rather irrelevant.? Janet and Rob are a beautiful couple inside and out.? They were so awesome to work with.? My favourite shot of them on the rocks overlooking the lake doesn’t really show you how cold and VERY windy it was.? There were several times I was afraid the waves were going to actually spray them.? Thankfully we got the shot and got back inside to warm up.? Their whole wedding party was just awesome.? Thanks for a wonderful day guys!? You can click here to see the slideshow.

Jennifer & Josh – Engaged
Last week I met up with Jennifer & Josh for our egagement session.? I’m always amazed how early the sunsets this time of year.? We started taking photos at 6 and by 7pm it was dark outside.? I generally work pretty quick anyway, but Wednesday it definitely came in handy.? Here are a few of my favourite shots from our session.? I’m looking forward to catching their wedding next summer at Hessenland.

Tonight was so much fun.? I know I should be blogging about my two engagement sessions and my family portrait session from this week, but I decided instead to share some personal pics.? Tomorrow is my birthday and as excited as I am about shooting Janet & Rob’s wedding, I know my kids are a bit dissappointed that I won’t be home to hang out with them, so tonight was family night.? We had a pizza party for supper and followed it up by baking some fancy Halloween cookies and posing for a funny picture with some cool candy teeth I found today at the bulk barn.? We also watched the new Indiana Jones movie together.? It was a great night.? Anyway, I thought I’d share our silly photos with you just for the heck of it.?

Mandy & Nathan – Engaged!
This has been a busy week for me.? I have had 3 engagement shoots and a family session as well.? I’m going to try and blog about all of them, but I might not get caught up until next week.
My schedule lately has been crazy…. well crazier than usual.? I’ve felt really bad that I’m not more accessible to my clients, but it’s always a juggling act between skating lessons, piano lessons, laundry, photo editing, shooting and all the many other things I do.? Mandy was super patient with me.? She was really hoping for a weekend time, but definately wanted in on the fall colours.?? We managed to find a weeknight that worked for both of us and so on Monday night I met up with Nathan & Mandy at one of their favourite spots just north of Bayfield.? Thank goodness it waited to rain until we were all done.? Here are a few of my favourite shots from our session.

Sorry I don’t have too much to blog about this week, but I really enjoyed having a weekend off to spend almost entirely with my family. ?It seemed like a long time since I’ve had that opportunity. ?I actually didn’t even check my emails except via my ipod for the whole weekend. ?What a change that was! ?I do want to blog about a couple of shoots this week, so I’ll start with the Winter’s family.
Frank & Janet celebrated their 25th anniversary last year and received a gift certificate for family photos from their good friends, Martin & Teresa VanRaay. ?Due to their schedules and mine and the weather, we didn’t get to take the photos until this past Tuesday…. but I think they were worth the wait. ?The fall colours ?have just become more and more beautiful this past week. ?Here are a few of my favourites from our shoot. ?Congrats on 25 Years!
